Meet your 2019-’20 CruST!

At Rutgers, we have a wonderful CruST, which stands for CRU Servant Team, who are excited to be serving the Rutgers community by expanding and strengthening the Kingdom here! Their work involves setting a vision for each semester, planning and organizing weekly meetings, leading small groups/Bible studies, planning larger out-reach events and most importantly fostering Christ-centered community with-in CRU as a whole. Below are some short introductions to the current members. abbyAbigail Pinto is a fourth-year Rutgers Business School student pursuing a degree in Finance. After attending Cru for three years, she is excited to be our president for this school year. Abigail enjoys drinking coffee and eating good food with friends. When she’s not in class, she’s probably drinking bubble tea somewhere. Raymond Williamson is a fourth-year student in the School of Arts and Sciences studying Criminal Justice and Psychology as well as Philosophy. He has been in CRU since freshman year and is looking forward to being a part of CruST. He also works as a 31961223_2058081704439536_260628618500112384_nclassroom assistant for the Physics Lecture Hall, thankfully he has not been blown up yet. He also loves sports especially football, he will always be willing to defend his hometown Eagles anytime. Ray can be found on any campus at any time so always be on the lookout for Ray and his cello Shelli. He also has an intense love of music as well as the word of God. One of the verses that Ray likes to remember is James 1:2-4, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.  img_4907.png Amanda Greene is a fourth-year Rutgers Business School Student pursuing a degree in Finance with a concentration in Entrepreneurship. After transferring to Rutgers from RVCC last year, Amanda got plugged into Cru through leading bible studies and evangelism efforts on campus, and this will be her first year on CruST. Amanda loves traveling, meeting new people and going to the gym. A verse that she likes to look to is Ecclesiastes 3:11” He has made everything beautiful in its time. After finding a home at Cru in her first two years, she is excited to be a part of CruST for the upcoming school year. When she is not diligently doing classwork you can find her climbing trees, laughing until her sides hurt, reading (any good book recommendations, send them her way), or theater. She has a heart for travel and adventures, which includes learning about all the cultures of the world and seeing God’s beautiful sights. IMG_8808Michael Cardone is a third-year Rutgers Business School student pursuing a degree in Supply-Chain Management. After joining cru as a freshman and acting as the Emcee this past year, he is excited to be joining CruST. When he’s not talking to other business people about important business topics, he likes to brew specialty coffee or go to the gym. One of his favorite passages is  Psalm 61: 1-2 “Hear my cry, O God, listen to my prayer; from the end of the earth I call to you when my heart is faint.
