Meet your 2019-’20 CruST!

At Rutgers we have a wonderful CruST, which stands for CRU Servant Team, who are excited to be serving the Rutgers community by expanding and strengthening the Kingdom here! Their work involves setting a vision for each semester, planning and organizing weekly meetings, leading small groups/Bible studies, planning larger out-reach events and most importantly fostering Christ-centered community with-in CRU as a whole. Below are some short introductions to the current members. After attending Cru for two years, she is excited to be a part of CruST and for the year ahead. Abigail enjoys drinking coffee and eating good food with friends. When she’s not in class, she’s probably drinking bubble tea somewhere. Raymond Williamson is a fourth year student in the School of Arts and Sciences studying 31958906_2058080867772953_9021999845186994176_oCriminal Justice and Psychology as well as Philosophy. He has been in CRU since freshman year and is looking forward to being a part of CruST. He also works as a classroom assistant for the Physics Lecture Hall, thankfully he has not been blown up yet. He also loves sports especially football, he will always be willing to defend his hometown Eagles anytime. Ray can be found on any campus at any time so always be on the lookout for Ray and his cello Shelli. He also has an intense love of music as well as the word of God. One of the verses that Ray likes to remember is James 1:2-4, “Count it all joy, my brothers, when you meet trials of various kinds, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. Amanda Greene 


 

Alyssa Miller is a third-year SAS student double majoring in Social Work and Psychology. After finding a home at Cru in her first two years, she is excited to be a part of CruST for the upcoming school year. When she is not diligently doing class work you can find her climbing trees, laughing until her sides hurt, reading (any good book recommendations, send them her way), or theater. She has a heart for travel and adventures, which includes learning about all the cultures of the world and seeing God’s beautiful sights.
